February 24, 2009

As if the story of Stephon Marbury finally reaching a buyout with the New York Knicks wasn’t news enough, numerous credible sources expect Marbury to join the defending champion Boston Celtics once he clears waivers. Since Marbury was waived before the Sunday deadline, he is eligible to play in the playoffs for another team, and [...]

Devin Harris hits a miraculous buzzer beater

February 24, 2009

I realize that I’m about a day late and a dollar short on this one, but I would be remiss if I didn’t show this brilliant game-winner by New Jersey’s Devin Harris last night. It was easily one of the best shots of the year, and certainly one of the best buzzer-beaters I’ve ever seen. [...]

February 18, 2009

In a strange turn of events, Tyson Chandler will be headed back to New Orleans to join his fellow Hornets. campus after an officer detected the odor of [...]

Dark Suns: Porter fired; Richardson arrested

February 16, 2009

The weekend rumor that Phoenix Suns head coach Terry Porter would be fired today has been confirmed. He will be replaced by Suns assistant coach Alvin Gentry. The Suns had clearly been struggling to find their identity this season, and in turn struggled with consistency. Clearly, on paper, their talent is on par with some [...]

Shaq breaks it down with the Jabberwockies

February 15, 2009

This is precisely why we should all do our best to vote Shaquille O’Neal into the All-Star game for every year until he retires. Before the introduction of the All-Star starters, O’Neal came out as the centerpiece of the Jabberwockies dance crew with the trademark white mask on. Despite the mask being comically small for [...]

All-Star events recap

February 15, 2009

My favorite night of All-Star hors d’oeuvres has passed, but thankfully, we still have the main dish tonight. As you can see from my predictions post yesterday, I only successfully picked one event, so the the All-Star events were full of surprises to me. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights of the [...]
