We showed you the new Team USA uniforms yesterday, and today we came across even more customized gear that will be hitting the hardwood this Summer in Turkey. Kevin Durant posted on his personal blog that he will be rocking these new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse kicks at the 2010 FIBA World Championships.
These shoes fall in-line with the continuing trend of lightweight, breathable materials. Just as the weight of the uniforms has decreased, the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse weigh in at roughly 12.5 ounces for a size 9. Pretty impressive.
No word yet on whether or not any other players on the team will be wearing these as well, but we’ll likely continue to see more customized kicks catered to the individual players’ preferences as we get closer to the tournament kicking off.
