Nightly Noise: Nowitzki is ice cold

by Stu Holdren on December 12, 2009

It isn’t necessarily the shot itself that is so impressive, it is the situational pressure that preceded the shot. Dirk Nowitzki struggled with his shot (14-34) throughout the game against the Bobcats but found a way to come through when the Mavs needed it most. Down by one with the clock running down, there aren’t too many guys I’d rather have with the ball than Dirk.
